Most of the places that sell plasma TV’s also sell a bracket to mount the TV either to a wall or the ceiling.
as long as you have acces to your ceiling from above, you can fix timber to the joist to make the ceiling take the weight of it, use a normal bracket , and all the cables could also run into the ceiling.
